Since Mother's Day is coming up this week I was going to have them do something special for their mothers (and grandmothers too!).
These are 9 year old boys. It was hard think of a crafty something that would keep them contained for at least 30 minutes (the 2nd 30 minutes they usually get to play in the gym at the church or outside).
I had a super hero idea theme, "Super Mom", that I hope the boys will like.
Searching online I also found this Front Page News Mother's Day Card by Martha Stewart. (It's cute if you'd rather have a general one).
I liked these two ideas and put them together.
I created a Front Page News Super Mom's Card
I will probably also have the boys make "Super Mom" badges from shrink film.
